With proven expertise in Diversity and Inclusion, but also in intercultural management, Pete Stone has been supporting public and private organisations for more than 15 years.

Pete delivers impactful conferences and training sessions. His humour and his talent as a public speaker make him difficult to forget. He is bilingual English-French and works in France and abroad, both on-site and remotely.

Experience

Pete is of British descent but has lived and worked in France for more than 35 years and now has French and British nationalities. He worked in education and training for 15 years, and in particular at Neoma Business School in Rouen, where he taught ethics and cross-cultural management and managed the school’s international programmes.

He continued his career in HR and Recruitment Consulting where he was Marketing & Operations Director for Hudson France, whose diversity policy he designed and implemented. He represented Hudson in the creation of the NGO À Compétence Égale.

EHis expertise in Diversity and Inclusion was key to his decision in 2009 to create Just Different, specialising in D&I training and consulting. For 13 years, he has been supporting large French and international companies and SMEs, as well as public institutions and NGOs in their diversity and inclusion policies.

Finally, Pete continues to express his desire to change mentalities by delivering training in higher education.

Truly Committed

Pete Stone has always been strongly invested in NGOs that promote Diversity and Inclusion.

He is co-founder of À Compétence Égale and has been a board member of Jolokia, ESTIMnumérique, Pro InterCultura and Konstelacio.

He has also worked closely on several occasions, with the the AFMD (French Association of Diversity Managers). Pete is the co-author of two books published by the AFMD:

Currently Pete is working again with the AFMD and Patrick Scharnitzky on measuring inclusion.
